We are actively seeking assistance and collaboration in the following main areas:
- Industry Placements for students after they have finished their training and community service with CACE
- Research and Development support and partnerships
- Pro bono specialised assistance (e.g. responding to advanced persistent threats or digital forensics) for vulnerable small business who cannot afford expensive cybersecurity professional services
- Case study development for scenario and simulations in the new unit Cyber Incident Response and Risk Management
- Sponsorship to help us achieve our overall objectives.
At its core, the centre will be a major hub for strong community engagement and active learning, as more than 100 students will undergo training in cyber incident response annually with valuable assistance from industry, government, internal university support, and our certification partners.
The majority of students will come from the program Bachelor of Cybersecurity and Behaviour, with other key talent coming from law, psychology, behavioural economics, and specialized cybersecurity computer science disciplines.
